Project Background
We carried out a sintering test for pure niobium sheets to verify anti-contamination performance, serving manufacturers of tungsten carbide, zirconium and refractory metal spare parts.


Test Details
Furnace: 2200°C high-temperature resistance furnace
Process: Sinter at 1700°C, hold for 1 hours
Vessel: High-purity alumina crucible
Specimen: Pure niobium sheet


Test Results
The alumina crucible effectively isolated graphite insulation inside the furnace chamber. No carbon contamination was detected within the crucible. Sintered niobium pieces stayed intact with stable high purity,free of impurity infiltration or oxidation damage
Compared with graphite vessels, alumina crucibles prevent carbon pollution and guarantee finished partquality for wear-resistant replacement components. Our furnace can also be equipped with argon atmosphere and hot press modules to fit full powder metallurgy production lines.
